Want some Cardio?????...............I'll give you some cardio

This weekend I found out firsthand what snowshoeing is all about………………………………..
Trail Blazing uphill through snow is a great cardio workout experience.
Being my first time snowshoeing, I had no idea what to expect. As the trail became more faint, with deep steps we went on to blaze our own trail.
All in all, a must do experience!
If you have not tried this yet, you should:)

Glad to see you used MSR's snowshoes. They are the only snowshoe on the market where you can add extensions to accommodate the depth of the snow. Yes, snowshoeing is a great work out. My favorite local place to snowshoe is on Mount Rainier, Narada Falls. It's about the 1/2 point between Longmire Inn and Paradise. Stretch like Ichiro before you take off on the shoes.

It is total cardio. I snowshoed in Yosemote a few years back. We saw saw a very sleepy bear. I definitely went out of my THR, but it was totally worth it!
