Last spring I won the internal Challenge,
losing 9.7lbs of body fat and gaining 9lbs of lean mass. While pleased with what I had accomplished I wanted to push it even further & decided to focus hard for another 8 weeks to see what I could accomplish – After all, I couldn’t stop now, I was feeling better than I had in years and wanted to keep going (remember this is a lifestyle).
What a difference an additional 8 weeks can make! Both myself
workout partner had reduced our body fat to under 8%

Below are the three tips I found to be the most important during my journey
Decide & commit to change: This means that you have absolutely, positively decided that you are going to change your lifestyle. When I hear people say “I’ll try” or “I’ll give it my best” I know that they have not decided to change & will most likely fold when faced with an obstacle. This doesn’t mean you have to be perfect and it’s ok to not be ready – it may take you several weeks before you figure out how to fit every meal or workout into your busy schedule, but if you resolve to change no matter what you will eventually reach your goal.
Journal & Plan in advance: Life throws way too many challenges at us to not have a plan in place. Do your best to plan your workouts & balanced meals around everything else going on in your life. I would not have been able to achieve 7.5% body fat without planning & journaling my exercise & nutrition. This is the habit the most successful followers of the Kinetix lifestyle have adopted & for good reason – it works!
Push yourself!: This is important, your body will not change if you simply go through the motions. My workout partner
Stewart played an instrumental part in my success because he challenged me to push myself harder each week.
