This is the season of a grateful heart and I know that one thing that always makes the top of anyone’s list is a deep gratitude for our friends.
Friends are the family that we choose.
We know they are there for us cheering us on, and we offer ourselves up in return.
Is it possible to have over 600 of these kind of friends at one time?
It is if you are me on the Kinetix Community site!

With access to over 1700 members and growing everyday, the “add friends” buttons are H-O-T!
Have you introduced yourself around the site? This is a great opportunity to meet people that are making the same life style changes as you. They will totally “get” you! You may have others doing Kinetix along with you, you may not, But no where else is there a neighborhood like this of people eating K-Balanced and all doing squats on Wednesdays!
Here are some ideas for a little “mingling” on the Community Site, Feel free to share yours here.
Any great Kinetix Community Site friendship stories?

While reading blogs, if the authors writing moves you… why not add them as friend?
I just bet they’ll do it again. Friends that inspire and motivate? THOSE are good friend to have!

Look for the on the main page for the new people, reach out to them and welcome them as a friend. Many of you do this every day in your world of work and home. Why not pass that spirit of friendship on this site as well? Remember the phrase “in order to HAVE a friend you need to BE a friend” Yep …that’s what I mean here!

Search! Go to Members on the tool bar on the top of the page.
Search by:
Coach name
Or your city or state
Or by program (Basic, Performance or Endurance)
This will bring up the people that have the criteria that you put in the search box, you take it from there!

Bring em’ from the outside. See at the top by your name where it says “invite”? This means you can invite your non Kinetix friends and family to the Kinetix Community. What a great chance to share and inspire people with your Kinetix journey! The better your support network, the more likely to succeed you will be. That’s why Support is the third pillar of Kinetix.
Friendships Work!

Lisa, thank you for being a friend - and thank you for sharing tips about how to network in cyberspace. I am not good at it even though I've been on this site for almost two years now. Glad to read your words of inspiration.

Yes, Lisa...you meet the NICEST people here!! I remember when you and I first met on the old K-website a couple years ago when we were just getting started as K-Clients. It has been a fun journey to go from "online friends" to "real friends". I treasure my time spent here....so as I'm going down memory lane with this post, I want to reach out again and say "thanks" to all my Canadian Friends that reached out and got me started here!! Thanks Lynda, Shelly, Bill, Ron, Darshan, Amber and Coach Allie...and everyone else that embraced me and shared your K-Passion online when I was first starting!!

Good advice Lisa... This is a great resource, in so many ways. You never know what you are going to find... someone who's story will inspire you, move you, or who has already had to answer some of the same questions you have...

Thanks, now the Golden Girls theme song is playing in my head! But great advice on the community, and I never knew what the "invite" button was for! I have to go invite some people into a great way of looking at nutrition and exercise!
