planning ahead. Here are a few tips to make your holiday workouts a success.
Plan where you will workout. Where are you staying? At a house with friends or relatives? In a hotel? Either way there’s most likely a gym nearby. Most gyms offer some kind of a daily or weekly guest pass. Call your host or hotel to find out what gyms are in the area and visit their website to look-up hours, equipment, and rates. Or better yet, purchase the

Plan your workout time. Often during holidays, the longer you put your workout off during the day the less likely you are to complete your workout. Let’s face it, things come up, you are visiting with family, sightseeing, shopping etc. To eliminate the majority of these roadblocks try planning to workout earlier in the day before most of the family is awake. This will minimize distractions & prevent your workout time from disrupting family plans. An early morning workout will also give you more energy for the day.
Pack your workout clothes. Don’t forget this one! Make sure you pack your workout clothes, comfortable athletic shoes, and heart rate monitor.
