I've completed just a week and a half, and I'm finding that I get sooo full, so fast when I'm eating. I can barely finish a single serving of anything. And my body is already reminding me every couple hours that it's time to eat again. And I'm not craving junk food. The stomach problems I've been experiencing for the last 6 years are almost non-existent! Even when I easily could eat something not balanced, I can't bring myself to do it. My body is talking to me--and I'm actually listening! This is amazing.

I really want to get on the scale, but I'm so afraid that there won't be any improvement, and I'll get discouraged. But I have already noticed my clothes starting to fit a little better! :) I think I'll wiegh myself at the 3 or 4 week mark. Then I'll be really encouraged!

My biggest concern right now is leaving for the managers' leadership conference for the week. It is my goal to complete my workouts everyday while I'm gone, and eat as balanced as I possibly can while I'm in the South! LOL I leave in the morning, and I already have a plan. Today I will be baking lots of K snacks that I can take on the road. That should help curb any temptations. Wish me luck...I'm a little nervous.

Sarah,
Sound like everything is going great.
Initally you body has to adjust to eating so frequent, however it turns on autopilot quickly.
Take a quick look at our On the Road Dining Guide, Kinetix Fruit Guide, and Kinetix Sandwich 101
This will give you some great options.
Enjoy,
AD

Sarah, I am so excited for you!
Fueling your body every couple of hours can be a little different at first but when you body starts reminding you of this ..... that is a GREAT sign. Your body is getting the best gift of all by you loving it with exercise and meeting your K-Counts. High Five to you!
As for your trip , you sound so on top of your planning and preparing .... you will do Great!
Simple things to remember: Protein, Carb and Fat. These are the 3 Macronutrients I want you to remember and when you pick from a buffet or order food Think Simple. If this does not make sense, reach out and I can go into depth on this. Look at the Nutrition Tools on the right hand side of the screen. You will find tools such has "Building Balanced Meals" and "Building a Balanced Sandwich" also an "On the Road Guide".
You are on your way and doing Super!
One last thing .... Let your clothes be the indicator instead of the scale, ok? Pack it away in storage for a while. Be the best you can be everyday and stay consistent, you will see results Sarah.
Enjoy the process and the journey, try to. It is the little successes along the way that are important too.
Safe Travels and Stay Kinetical. Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Good luck in New Orleans! You will be able to stay balanced, and if you slip, just jump right back into it with the next meal. And don't forget your free targets, stay balanced when you can, refer to the on the road dining out guide, it's there on the right hand side of your page, and then when you get stuck you can have the free target up your sleeve.

And stay off the scale!!! It's not a good indicator of your progress - you listed a whole bunch in this blog, not craving junk food, no stomach problems, being able to really listen to your body and of course the one we all love the most - your clothes are fitting differently! You probably have more energy too and maybe you're sleeping better, the list goes on and on, but these are the REAL indicators, skip the scale!

Stay in touch while you're away and have some FUN!
