My Recipe Log - A place to keep my favorite meals and snacks for any situation

This is a work in progress - not everything below has been fully planned out... so use at your own risk :-) It's mainly a place to dump ideas and solutions that work for me in one spot. Feel free to get ideas, but I highly encourage you to start your own!

Favorite No-Prep Car Ride Breakfasts:
K2: 1/2 cup Kinetix Cereal - no milk, just scooped into a cup an snacked on during the commute to work.
K4: 1 cup Kinetix Cereal & a 1% extra foamy tall latte :-)

Back Up Meals when I don't really want to cook and have no leftovers
Frozen Teriyaki Chicken Breast & Rice (measurements needed)
K3: Tuna snack pack with 1/2 the mayo

When I'm not in the mood for a KBar
K2: 1 pack Dried Fruit Crisps & 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese (for a K3 - double everything) (gotta see how the crisps balance with a cheese stick too for a quick on the go snack)

Most convenient anytime solution...
KBars & Kinetix Cereal everywhere! Home, Car, Office - I must have an endless supply on hand at all time!

Staples to have in the house
Frozen Teriyaki Chichen Breast (Costco)
Precooked Chicken Breast (Costco)
Tuna Snack Packs (Costco)
2% cottage cheese, eggs, milk, 2% greek yogurt
K-Bars & Kinetix Cereal - never run out - the most convenient lifesaver!
K0 Veggies - to put in all recipes

Recipes to prepare this week:

K3 Strawberry Shortcake
K2 Simple Chocolate Pudding

K2 Thai Chicken Skewers skip the skewers, add more K0s and divide the entire dish by 4 for a K4 dinner - simply and delicious
K4 Cowboy Caviar - I loved this - I will definitely make again
K4 Chicken & Chutney Sandwich - easy & yummy
K5 Arroz Con Pollo
Work on Revising Cynthia's Peanut Butter Crispy Treats to use Kinetix Cereal - These worked out pretty good with the Kinetix Cereal - I was able to simplify the ingredients down to 5! Coach Terry is helping to perfect the recipe before we post it.

Add the new fruit guide to your list!!! I love the K1 combo of one medium sized peach/1 light string cheese!!! And Cynthia...the revised version of your Crispy Treats is fantastic...you do need to share that recipe!!

Last Week's Recipe Review:
-K2 Chocolate Mousse: Made a double serving to have enough for snack club and still have left overs that ended up being a huge lifesaver! I froze a couple K4 servings and they defrosted perfectly overnight in the fridge.
-K4 Chicken & Chutney Sandwich: YUM! Now i know why this is Stew's favorite recipe! It's awesome. Oh, and it was so easy to put together with pre-cooked chicken breast from Costco.
-K4 Grilled Chicken & Balsamic Beet Salad: Tim and I love this recipe! The trick for us is to add in any K0s that we have in the house to pump up the salad. So Good!

Great idea Cynthia. I used a similar list when I was trying to get an idea of which recipes I wanted to try, then I build my menus off of those items. I have a discussion on Building Menus in Terry's Team ( I still can't figure out how to attach a document to a comment) and attached my list and my menus, if you want to check it out. But I like that this is right on the site. I keep thinking they should allow a Favorites List in the recipes section so you can browse and add as you go. Maybe some day. Thanks for the idea.
