Greetings Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great 2008! This weekend, I had the opportunity of starting 2009 on a great foot by hanging out with a good college friend of mine in Washington DC. In addition to exploring a new city and reconnecting the time that elapsed we (and his sister, Jenny) committed that this year will be an even better year than last!

From Starbucks to Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield Seattle to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, I have had an amazing year. I am truly grateful for every day, every experience and every person that I have met. Thank you to everyone who made 2008 a memorable year for me. I hope this year was your best year as well!

In hindsight, my adventure has been fun…I have enjoyed learning, growing, evolving and being challenged each day…I find the journey of 2009 very exciting filled with new experiences and new opportunities to learn from. As I said before, I recognize that 2008 wasn’t perfect and but have specific plans to make it even better.

Hey GB,
I am looking forward to reading your feedback of your 2009 goals. Just wanted to give a quick check in to see how you're doing. Is there anything I can do to help keep you accountable towards your goals? Let me know how I can help you check them off your list!

Wow... I worn out just reading through them... and impressed.

OK, you have inspired me. The other thing I need to add is a monthly check to review progress... but you have definitely inspired me... again.

The fact that you broke your goals down so specifically is great and i'm going to have to steal a portion of them. Everything in your plan is so specific. I think you'll see 2009 as one of the best years yet (but in that thought, with goals like these, every year will be)!

THis is a great list Gerry and I have no doubt you'll be able to finish all of them. You're a rock star dude, keep inspiring all those around you!

Gerry I love the way you have broken up your life into categories, and have really specific goals for all of them. I am going to take some time this week for reflection (while I am visiting my new nephew, born on 12/28!) and try to do something similar.
Thanks for the continued inspiration!

Impressive, realistic, well thought out! But then Gerry, I would not have expected anything less from you!! I love that you aren't expecting perfection...but instead striving for excellence. Your plan has dates, activities, and holds true to the wonderful person that you are. Great list...I just hope that you find time to spend with us here in Seattle too!!

Awesome photo!!
