Warning: I'm overly zealous this year and this list is waaayyyy tooooo loonnnnggg! - But I dream big - I am capable - and I am motivated.

I experienced so many new things in 2008, that I'm sooo ready to bring back some of my long lost favorites in 2009. I haven't been this excited to set goals and resolutions in a really long time. Thank you January!

Revive my passion for an incredibly active lifestyle!
Reclaim my title as a dancer! Fourteen years of classical ballet training left me feeling strong, sexy, graceful and like I could do anything. I'm bringin' it back. Four times a month - at least... no excuses!

Dust off the good old bicycle! Biking for commuting and biking through mountain trails used to be one of my things. I'm bringin' it back. I plan on participating in Bike to Work Day in May and then make sure I hit the saddle at least twice a month during the beautiful Seattle summer.

Hike with Riley! While the doggie part is new, I loved exploring the great outdoors with a good hike. Thank you Alaska! I'm bringin' it back. Once a month in the Seattle summer, Riley and I will hit the trails.

Do a Street Scramble! I'm not big on 5ks and marathons, but give me a city scavenger hunt, and I'm there!

Learn tennis! West Seattle has so many great courts and I want to take advantage!

Develop my relationships!
Date Night! Reality is that Tim and I are way too busy for our own good! So twice a month, I'll be planning a date night to be sure that life doesn't pass us by without spending some quality time together!

Relish in my role as a daughter, little sister, auntie and soon-to-be daughter-in-law! It's time to nurture my family relationships. I can't go a month without a great phone call, sharing a meal, doing something active, getting a letter in the mail, or sending a surprise and delight!

Keep up with my best buds! I recently found my childhood friends on another social network. It feels so great to connect with them again so I'm determined to keep in touch once and for all! BFFs unite!

Flex my DIY muscles!
Cultivate my green thumb! A veggie and herb garden will be the perfect spring time project!

Add some personality! I love my yards, but both would benefit from a little landscaping TLC... maybe a firepit in the back yard and a patio in the front? I know I'll be itching to visit the Home Depot and start some projects!

Wedding Planning! I'm excited to plan and coordinate an awesome but intimate wedding this year! I can't wait!

Enrich my Life
Quench my thirst for a life on the water! I spent some time growing up on a lake and found that water fed my soul. I'm bringin' it back. Once a month, you'll find me on (or in) the water... maybe a kayak trip off Alki, or a canoe tip on Lake Washington, or a fairy ride to a nearby island, or a sailboat ride, or ?

Revive my inner artist! I have knack for pottery and a longtime dream to replace all my kitchenware with handmade ceramics. This will be the year that I begin to make that dream come true!

Get active in my community! West Seattle has a number of wonderful volunteer opportunities and I look forward to playing a part in improving my community.

Spruce up my Hungarian and teach Tim! I consider myself fortunate for growing up in a bilingual family... AND fortunate to have a fiance that wants to learn my family language.

Educate Myself!
Be a Leader! I want to finish my UW leadership program knowing that I did the work to get the most out of it!

Maintain my ACSM credentials! This is the year to complete all of my CECs and I'm looking forward to learning from other professionals out there!

Maintain my Massage License! Oh, what should I learn this year? Hot stone? Pregnancy? Craniosacral? Can't wait to gain some new skills!

IKinetix
K-Balance my favorite Hungarian dishes! It's long over due that I create some goulash, stuffed peppers and chicken paprikas for all of you to enjoy with me! I love love love hungarian food!

Change my Percent Body Fat! I'm shooting for 25%bf by my birthday in March. Then I'll reassess and set me next goal.

Journal Completely! I know that I'll need to stay focused to reach my pbf goals, and honing my meal timing, exercise and nutrition compliance is the only way I'll get there. My journal is my best friend.

Share my progress regularly! I recently realized how powerful blogging is in keeping me accountable! Plus, I love the virtual high fives and words of encouragement! Thanks Kinetix Community!

Can I do it? Yes I Can! One step at a time to create another great year!
