About Me:
I guess you could say I married "the boy next door" as we grew up right across the street from each other in TX. We lost contact when I was 13 as my family moved to TN and 10 yrs later while in TX for a girlfriends wedding I looked him up. To make a long story short...we were married a year later and have now been married for almost 8 yrs. He is not only my husband but also my BEST friend and we do everything together. We love to travel and do so every chance we get. We also have three furry children...three dogs that is and they get lots of love and attention.

What a difference! I have a new lease on life and I'm now MEDICATION FREE! I have beat Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Fatty Liver Disease, and Elevated Cholesterol! My energy is through the roof and although I have a ways to go before I reach my goal weight I know I WILL achieve it!

Hi Tiffany,

Thank you so much for replying to me. I have no real words right now to describe how I feel because reaching out for help is not something I feel comfortable with, but I really want to better my life and the reality is that doing it alone has never worked.

I love your story. You sound so much like me. Although my husband and I didn't grow up best friends or neighbors, he is my best friend and we feel as if we've known each other all our lives. We actually met through the personal ad.

We have 2 furry children (my pictures will show a mini weiner dog but he is my brother's). We had 3 but lost our Buddy a few years ago. My health goal is to be able to walk my dog.

Sounds to me as if I am where you were. Last nigh was legs of course and today I had a hard time walking down the stairs. Was not looking forward to cardio, but I did 6 minutes today. Our kids and I danced together. It was fun.

Today my blood sugars were really good in comparison to Tuesday, no hard lows. However, I am so NOT hungry!!! I still ate what I could.

Thanks again and I really look forward to your guidance as I begin my Kinetix life!!!!

Hi Tiffany,
Thanks for the check-in. I've been just underneath the weather this week, but am feeling better today. I bought goodies to make some berry smoothies and look forward to trying them this weekend. My blood sugar is stable and coming in at same averages daily so that is good, I expect to see some changes going forward with the increased activity now in my routine. Hope you are having decent weather where you are.

Thanks for the tips, this is my first week and I'm trying to balance everything out. I feel like I haven't quite made the best use of the recipes yet but am hoping to this weekend. Do you find that with the recipes you are modifying them to cut down on carbs or does the exercise offset the carbs and not spike your blood sugar too much?
