Have FUN!! Ride safely...I'll look forward to hearing all about it! Don't stress if you are outside your heart rate zone this time...perfection is not a lifestyle. Enjoy the day...track what you did and you will have a baseline for your next ride....

This is cool! I have been looking for something like this. A lot of my K-Pals tell me it's easy to forget to eat so often. This tool can be programmed to send a silent reminder to eat a balanced meal, drink some water, get up and stretch, whate...

Thanks so much Coach Terry! I'm going to wear my HR monitor, this is the first bike trip I've taken since being with Kinetix, and the first big one ever. It will be helpful for me to be able to gauge where I am and find where to push and hold back...

You are so right Like. It takes an AWESOME company to care about their Team members to this extent. In my 20 + years (Oh My!) I have never seen this type of commitment to our health & welfare! Now it is up to us to follow thru and make this work....

About Me:
Kinetix Support Coach: I owe my joy of fitness and nutrition to my father whose enthusiastic outdoorsman skills transferred into my family’s way of life. Weekend (or weeknite!) activities were river rafting, fishing, backpacking, rock climbing, and hiking the tallest mountains in my home state of Idaho. With a passion for running half marathons and a soon-to-be a triathlon participant, I feel privileged and honored to be here helping you all to learn to engage in your own care and love of your physical body so that you can be FULLY present and live life in complete wholeness each and every day.

Back to Basics, Baby!! When it comes to fat loss Basic is the way to go! I'm a running junkie (ANYwhere outside & especially on hot days), love the bike and lately snowshoeing- yee haa! I adore movies, am a popcorn-aholic, & an opera (oratorio, choral and latey baroque opera participant) & musical theater geek. I can be seen in local shows or in the audience watching my friends!

Hello there Summer!

Seattle will be ushering in this holiday weekend with a GLORIOUS weather forecast, which means lots of bright white legs & arms (heaven forbid more body parts where the sun TRULY should not shine) that have been hibernating all winter long.

[ENTER: millions of Americans celebrating with the grill, neighborhood barbeques, & all kinds of fun in the sun]

But before you throw up your hands & resign the weekend to the biggest free target ‘eva’, take a look at these super t… Continue

Wellness is NEVER overrated!!

I guess it was my turn. Maybe fate. Or the nieces & nephews I was visiting over the Christmas holiday … whatever. But today will be one of the first days I’ve been able to do my cardio for close to 3 weeks. 3 WEEKS FOLKS!!!! I’m beside myself with excitement!! Little flutters of giggles have been erupting from me throughout the day. I honestly can’t tell you the last time I was THIS excited for my run!

Sadly, I rang in the new year with a pretty nasty virus. Meds, Dr.s & healing finally… Continue

A Little Planning Goes a Long Way...

I’m not going to lie. I will absolutely confess to rummaging through my fridge in a fit of hunger, finding all kinds of random things I thought I would use or try which are now total goners (what days leftover’s are those? Oooo, a slimy vegetable or two?) then trying to decide on the fly what I’m going to get made in the next 20 minutes so that my right arm isn’t in jeopardy of being my next meal.

I’m STARVING, and I need balanced food! My non-plan for food that day had me in a tailspin! And re… Continue

How do you explain "Leg Day" to friends & family?

Also included in this category would be, "how do you describe the two days AFTER leg day?" Either way, some descriptive phrases, sounds, & verbs are usually saved for this SPECIAL day of the week. "Man oh man", "I can't wait until it's over", "jello-jiggler legs" followed by some audible noises are some of the dorky PG speaks I have used. Audible sounds include sucking in the air in between clenched teeth with/or without the bug-eyed deer in headlights look face are some of my non-verbal com… Continue

Sybil, I am new to the K plan and went out for a shopping list, I noticed there are meals already there, do these change weekly? So that new meals will be there next week? And if they change, when Monday? At the end of the week?
