I'm 31 years old. I have worked at Starbucks for 8 years now. I am married to the love of my life, Brent, and we have a beautiful, healthy little boy, Cameron, who is 21 months old.
I want to feel as young as I am at heart. I am excited to learn how to make that happen! I love life, I love people and am blessed beyond measure! I want to live life to it's fullest.
My Goals:
To be in the best shape of my life and to get to 160 pounds, which also equals losing 40 pounds.
I was a "by-the-book" person for the first two weeks, a "I can give a little for the next two", then the Christmas Holidays hit and it was all hit and miss from there. I did lose 20ish pounds in the first 3 1/2 weeks and I came away with better eating habits and a better health agenda. As soon as things cool down a bit, I am re-starting...I KNOW I can do this...heck, I have my first triathlon to compete in!!

Sarah...It was great to hear from you! Did Mackenzie ever get a coach? I messaged her, but never heard back. She is so lucky to have you for support...and you will also benefit from supporting her. High five for being such an inspiration for others!
As for your "pretty bad" week, just remember...they happen! The trick is to refocus on your goals and move forward!
Yes, the climb is this Sunday! I was so excited and ready, but started having some knee pain over the weekend...not sure why. I'll see my physical therapist tomorrow and let him help me decide if doing the event will be safe. Typically, it is a "lung burn" more than a "leg burn" that slows me down. The cardio exertion is the hardest for me...those stairs throw me way outside my target heart rate zone. I'll post the results on Sunday or Monday. Watch for my blog. :-)
