The only thing you can control is what you are doing right now. You are the best problem solver. Right now, are you actions aligned with your potential? If not, what are you pretending not to know?

Welcome back, Gerry. My photo was taken at Craggie Gardens off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, NC, my beautiful hometown now. The hiking is amazing in this part of the country and very accessible.

I am doing better this week with my K count. I've already noticed a difference in my clothing. Working out is fun and mentally freeing for me. I've done it all my life, especially growing up with four older brothers who were all athletes. It feels so good getting back into it. I will admit, I am feeling quite sore after the squats and lunges.

I am so determined to accomplish this goal. Please help me understand the free points though. Let's say I want to have two glasses of red wine on Saturday? How does that fit in? Thanks

I guess I'll use up my free zones on the water. Or drink water and coffee. :)

Hey Gerry! So, my cousin and I, while doing the same things, both being meeting K targets and all strength and cardio, are seeing quite different results. In fact, if any thing she has gained a little! What advice do you have? Is there something we can do?

Thanks. I do believe I have the cutest baby in the world. His story? Well I left his dad when I was first pregnant since he told me to have an abortion. He doesn't want anything to do with him and that's just fine with me. So it's just the two of us. He's my whole world. One of the main reasons I joined kinetix is so that I can keep up with him...especially now that he's always running around and wanting to play. That's pretty much it I guess.

Hey Coach,
I have a quick question. I am running between 8 to 9 minute miles on my runs and find that my heart rate is averaging between 160 and 180 BPM. I am supposed to be at 121 to 140. Is it bad to have a higher average heart rate than what your target is supposed to be? Thanks Gerry.
