Taken from mapmyrun.com, a free site for tracking runs, rides, and workouts. For those with an iPhone, Android, or Blackberry, there are apps that use the built-in GPS (if present) to map your run, walk, or ride and provider time/pace feedback. See…

I've indulged in some pretty serious free targets - I shudder a little when I think back about just how much food and/or drink I may (or may not) have put down on a couple of occasions in a 5 hour span - but as long as you stay within the lines and…

I love to run... can very much relate. Injuries as well. Take care of your body, but it looks like you already know that. Did you stop for burgers and beers in Helvetia afterward??

About Me:
I'm a 30-something computer nerd who used to be active, but then The Man started demanding more and more of my time for work. I gave The Man the finger in '07 and joined Regence. After a couple of false starts getting back in shape (and an inconvenient tendon injury), I started Kinetix in November of '08 and haven't looked back.

In the good ol' days, I was a "hard-core" mountain biker, racing cross-country (including a couple of 24-hour relays) and riding the Seattle-to-Portland once. If my wife and I ever figure out how to sell our house in Salem and move up to PDX, I'll have to start riding again.
My Goals:
Run my first marathon in 2011 - either the Eugene Marathon in the spring or the Portland Marathon in the fall. Both? What-are-you, crazy?
What is your company affiliation?

Hey there!
How is the month coming?
i read your response to the post about running.
Wow. you have experienced it all, Evan!
Are you off to a good week this week?????

Right on, Evan!!!!!

i am really enjoying your insights. Lifestyle means that we mess up. We have ups and we have downs. I have been thinking alot about this lately. We always have these huge triumphs in the In-Person Coaching bubble that when people dont get those huge payoffs in fat loss and increases in their Superhuman abilities in the same linear fashion, that they sometimes give up!
YOU, on the other hand are sticking with it in a sustainable way. Right?
Better to hit 75% of the program for the next 30 years, than stick with no program (alternating with bouts of 100%)
I hope that sounded supportive and organized.

Hey there!
I was just thinking about you, wondering how your week went.
Guess your blog sums it up. NO Worries, right? Just move forward.
It sounds like you are learning to handle the ups and downs while still hanging tough.
:) Welcome to staying in the best shape, Evan!
