Hope you had an awesome birthday! Wishing you a healthy and happy year ahead. So good to hear from you! I am doing great. Getting used to fall and trying to see if I can make a HI vacation work for the Christmas holiday.
I had the chance to talk with Calvin two weeks ago to get a live update on you. You are kicking butt my friend. I really am really impressed and thrilled with your progress. I hear that work is crazy for everyone. From my perspective keep doing the best job that you can and keep up the relatiohships with co-workers. There are a lot of opportunities out there...keep on taking caring of yourself. Yes, Live Aloha man! BTW--I had good Saimin this weekend for a great free target!
How are you Hawaiian? I just thought of you because a new recipe debuted...something my mom made all the time!
I just got back from how HI. Wonderful. It is always great to be grounded. We come from a great place...I am very grateful. How are you?
BTW--I ate Shave Ice at the best place!
I can't believe we were not friends on the community site. Well it's about time we become friends. Thanks for coming to the community mingle today. I felt the Aloha spirit!
Brah--it's refreshing to have you here. This forum is not enough for us to connect...what about I come to SLC?
Don't forget to...enjoy the journey...You have a lot of potential my friend and you make your dreams come true. We are here to help you along your way.
P.S. I appreciate you for reminding me of our roots. I know you play the guitar...I started playing the ukulele again a year ago. I used to be in a band in elementary school. I have a goal to do some lessons with Pekelo here in Seattle. If you ever need and our paths cross, I would be happy to sing in your band...I can sing hawaiian but my comprehension could use some help. :-).
Talk to you later Aceman
First of all, I love your page and photos. It makes me feel closer to home. I love it. I was born and raised in Kapaa, HI. I am happy to help you any way but I wanted to let you know that you've got an awesome Coach in Calvin...just let me know what you need.
If you've got the chance you should check out my high school photos, I can relate to the cultural effects of food :-). I used to think that diabetes was a part of the aging process not something you can control. If I could have a hawaiian free target, I would have trouble because I would have to choose between my plate lunches, saimin, spam musubi, malasadas and lau-lau.
If you haven't, I would reccommend the Poke and Hawaiian Loco Moco. Stay in touch my friend...it only gets better.

Aloha!!
