Hi Elizabeth, that's exciting you are starting Kinetix. I was in the first group and there are several of us that work out in the Mork Building. I usually work out in the mornings around 6:15, but there are others that come in around 7 am. If that's too early, I know of a couple that work out in the afternoon after work, around 3:30. Let me know if you want me to hook you up with any of them. I have really enjoyed the program. There are days where it's challenging to stay with the food but even when I do go off the band wagon, I know how to jump back on and it's been great. Good luck and give me a call at work if you want to get together.

I start 8/3/09. I am excited but not sure what to do. I would like a buddy or two who are really commited to working the K plan. I would like to work out at LA Fitness or the Mork building in Tacoma. We could do cardio on ruston way. I am, pledging my commitment to the Kinetix Program, my buddies, and to myself I am going to kick Butt!

So here it is, Monday the first day of week two and I am feeling great!!! I went to lunch with a friend to the Cheesecake Factory and all I could think about was "what would the K count be?" I settled on a Spicy Chicken Salad that was on the low calorie menu. I ate most of the lettuce and all of the baked chicken. But the biggest accomplishment of them all was I stayed away from the cheesecake!!! I was thinking more of my health than the sweets that I was tempted with. That just shows that if I can resist the temptations, so can everyone else!! I know that we have free targets, but there is a point where I should stop..and did!

Hello everyone in Tacoma. Glad to part of the T Town Terrorz. This evening I made the Greek Salad with Tuna. Took a nibble, as it will be my lunch tomorrow. It's very yummy. It is light, quick and easy. It should be awesome on the hot days this summer.

Good morning Tacoma! Just wanted to check in and reintroduce myself to all the new folks. I was in the first group in Tacoma and still going strong. My advise to those who are just beginning is be patient, be honest and try to do your best. This is not just a diet or just a work out plan...it truly is a new way of living and because of that it can take time to adapt. I have said in previous postings that I have a history of distorted thinking about food, weight, health and my body. This resulted in many years of addictive use of food & other escape mechanisms as well as some heavy duty abuse of my body due to bulimia. It has been a long haul. Today I am addiction free (even cigarettes - it will be 1 year on August 12th), I have not participated in bulimic or anorexic behavior for over 15 years and through Kinetix am beginning to live a balanced sane lifestyle. I am giving up the goal of perfection and replacing it with the goal of a lasting healthy lifestyle. It is so awesome to be surrounded by people who are involved in Kinetix...in my direct work team there are now 5 people in Kinetix! I know that we can do together what we could never do alone. Welcome all the new Kinetix folks, please do not hestitate to contact me via sametime, email, Kinetix web site, phone.

Hey Valeri! Thanks for your PLEDGE to us all here-- I LOVE IT!

Who else is commiting to us all here, outloud like Valeri?

And Virginia about the bread-- it's not going to balanced by itself, but what I DO suggest is to check out the Building Balanced meal Builder tool. GREAT way to get in your fav protiens or carbs that you're into, and violà!! Dinner is served! :)

Ok, got up and worked out @ 6am at LA FITNESS( been a mbr but hardly used it for the last year) which is literally 3 mins from my house. Had a great workout. It was nice and quiet, not crowded as the afternoons. I know I willl be little sore tomorrow, but I feel pretty energized this morning. Ready for tomorrow!
