Hello all:

I work at the SSC (8 SW to be more specific) and have a membership at the Java Gym. I need to get a partner to help me get out of my chair and go workout for half an hour everyday. Not that you would have to drag me, but just having to commit to someone would do the trick for me.
I can go to the gym close to lunch time or around 4pm, but I'm open to suggestions.
Please let me know if you're interested.

Hi Ana,
I've sent your blog to my workout buddies (GESFG) Marla McNary and Geralyn Ganalon, they are really great about working out on a daily basis (I've been very bad at working out with them lately). But I thought it would be worth trying. Good luck....btw - we must sit very close to each other; I'm 8SW too.

i would be happy to meet with you and see if our schedules would work for working out together. One of the positives of our GESF group is that we have made so many connections that if it does not work out for your to join me and JJ and GG at times there are plenty of others we can connect you with. Go ahead and send me a meeting invite through outlook so we can connect and discuss. I sit on 7SW very close to you too. No worries we (GESFG) got you covered on this one.

Hi Ana,
Does it have to be at the Java Gym? I go to the K-gym everyday ~ I leave my desk between 3:30-4:00.

Hey Ana, I am so glad to hear that you are looking for a buddy. Sometimes people need that for inspiration and motivation. The accountabilbity factor is big. :-) I, my dear and NOT a candidate for you however unless you want to work out at 3am every morning. LOL That is the time when I work out and I go to 24 Hr. fitness. But, I will keep my ears open for you. In the meantime, keep up the good work, and remember; it's baby steps that take you on the journey to the finish line. ms. Liz

I am told I am nocturnal. LOL Don't need much sleep but I get about 5 hours a night. :-)

Ana, Hi - we met at class today! I am doing strength training at the Java gym m/w/f - I have tried 6 am and 1 pm. I will try to keep the 1 pm for now. I would love a buddy. Kristie
